Blake L. Sartini is the founder, chairman, and chief executive officer of Sartini Enterprises, Inc., a family investment company established in 2006.
In October 2001, Sartini formed Golden Gaming, Inc. and currently serves as its founder, chairman and chief executive officer. Golden Gaming, Inc. has established itself as one of the fastest growing, most innovative and respected gaming and entertainment companies currently operating in the United States. Golden Gaming, Inc., along with its affiliate Golden Mardi Gras, Inc., operates three divisions:
- Golden Casino Group, consisting of the Golden Mardi Gras Casino, Golden Gates Casino and Golden Gulch Casino in Black Hawk, CO, and the Pahrump Nugget Hotel & Casino in Pahrump, NV.
- Golden Tavern Group, Nevada's largest tavern operator with 40 establishments and
- Golden Route Operations, Nevada’s third largest slot route operator with more than 2,500 machines in more than 200 locations throughout the state.
Prior to establishing Golden Gaming, Inc., Sartini served as executive vice president, chief operating officer and director of Station Casinos, Inc. During his 15 years with the company, Sartini was instrumental in overseeing Station Casino’s explosive growth from one local casino with approximately 2,000 team members, to eight regional casinos with approximately 12,000 team members. Today, the Sartini family retains an ownership interest in Station Casinos, Inc.
Recently Sartini invested in the innovative ice cream company MolliCoolz. It began in 2005 when MolliCoolz acquired the exclusive global license to manufacture and sell frozen beads of ice cream that are stable at normal ice cream temperatures. Since then, MolliCoolz has introduced ice cream lovers to new flavors and products with the goal of providing the coolest way to eat ice cream.
In May of 2009, MolliCoolz nationally launched its newest product, Shakers™, with distribution of the product in national and regional retail grocery chains including all Wal-Mart Supercenters. The new Shakers™ product produces a rich, creamy milkshake when the MolliCoolz beads are combined with milk by shaking. “As an investor, we are pleased to see the widespread enthusiasm surrounding this truly incredible product,” said Blake Sartini.
Mr. Sartini is also a founder, board member and the largest shareholder of Nevada’s largest start-up bank, Service1st Bank of Nevada. Officially opened for business in January 2007, Service1st Bank of Nevada was initially capitalized with $50 million in assets.
The Sartini family supports the Las Vegas community in various civic and philanthropic endeavors, including the Nevada Cancer Institute, the Keep Memory Alive organization, the Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health, and Bishop Gorman High School.
Mr. Sartini earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in business administration from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
